As the car is only new (customer got it from a Mitsubishi showroom in Japan with no mileage on it), we decided to keep the boost the same and go with a conservative tune.
We loaded her onto the dyno and did consecutive power runs.

Max power recorded 278.5 flywheel HP, 212.5 wheel HP, 325.9 ftlb flywheel torque on the initial power runs. It was also noted that she was extremely rich all throughout the RPM range.
Our plan was to optimize the stock settings on the stock boost and get good driveable horsepower out of it without putting the engine under too much stress as it was still a new car.
ECUFlash enables us to reflash the standard EVO X ECU adjusting fuelling, ignition timing, boost, MIVEC tables (exhaust and intake) and other parameters like the JDM speed limiter, idle speed and drive by wire throttle.
The owner was not looking for crazy horsepower figures but to make her more economical when she is putting down the power.
End result with stock boost:
339 flywheel HP, 258 wheel HP, 346 ftlb flywheel torque.

When she grows up a little bit (a little more mileage), downpipes, racing catalyzer/straight pipe will be put on plus a remap of the standard ECU. This will hit well over 330 wheel HP, 400 plus flywheel HP on the standard engine, ECU and turbo
